L & L Tavern

L and L Tavern, on Clark Street between Aldine Avenue and Belmont Avenue, is a great neighborhood tavern situated in Lakeview. The prices are cheap and the service is top notch. Some call it a dive bar, and if you understand the art of a great dive bar, then you'll appreciate the fact that L and L gets it right. Note that this is a "cash only" bar, so hit the ATM before you arrive. They do have an ATM on the premises but it's hard to get to. Note that there's NOTHING on draft here (and we mean that literally, not figuratively), but they do have great specials!
