Sidetrack

Sidetrack is located on Halsted Street between Buckingham Place and Roscoe Street. This is a great little gay bar that's best known for its showtunes on the TV (you haven't lived until you've attended these singalongs!) and their specialty drinks. They've got a ton of them, and it's cool to order them combined into one so you can have a multi-layered rainbow of flavors. They've got an upper rooftop deck that we really enjoy, plus a bar up there so you don't have to make your way back down just to get another drink. Try the frozen whipsicles! So good! Though this is a great neighborhood bar, it's not really the type of place where they'll "know your name" a la Cheers, but still, we love it. Highly recommended to those who love a stiff drink and good times!
